  • When Roger showed me to my room at Copperfields, I was just so delighted with what I saw. A beautifully designed and furnished room - a real example of a Homes & Gardens interior. Soft, pastel colours with sympathetic lighting completed the picture. A small but perfectly functional en suite shower room with plentiful towels and quality products made for a perfect home from home experience. Hospitality tray had everything needed and the added touch of cutlery and crockery for those who wished to eat in the room was an added bonus. The choice for breakfast is generous, to say the least. It made me wish I was more of a trencherman but my choice of porridge, toast and coffee certainly set me up for the day. Despite being on a main road, Copperfields is a quiet and peaceful place to spend the night. I would not hesitate to recommend and definitely hope to return at a time of year when I will be able to take advantage of the French doors from my bedroom into the beautiful garden. There is, of course, free WiFi and Freeview television.

  • We stayed at this lovely guest house in Norwich. The owners provided us with a lovely double room. There were lovely small touches in the room with the tea / coffee and internet tv. The breakfast was scrumptious and the owners were very friendly. We would highly recommend the B&B.

  • Pam & Roger are brilliant hosts and know the area very well nothing is too much trouble we have been going for 5/6 years and are disappointed if we cant get in. The new decor shows Pam's flair and the conservatory is brilliant. They are a lovely couple who reserve every accolade given..Breakfasts are yummy with good choices. To us it is like going home.

  • Another excellent stay as usual and will be back again next year. Wonderful hosts, just like home from home.

  • The rooms are very clean, beautifully furnished to a high standard with comfy beds and the garden is beautiful. I would recommend this B&B to anybody visiting Norwich - it is close to the city, which is ideal for those wanting to do a spot of shopping or sightseeing.

  • We were going to stay in a 'chain' hotel but saw the reviews for Copperfields so thought we'd give it a try – and glad we did. Had everything we needed in our very comfortable room, which had French doors out into the lovely garden. Nothing was too much trouble for Roger and the breakfast cooked by Pam was first class. Would not hesitate to stay again if visiting Norwich.

  • I have been staying since April at Copperfields due to work and I couldn't ask for a better B&B. Roger and Pam have been very welcoming, friendly, accommodating and willing to help in anyway since the beginning to ensure I have the best stay. Pam's breakfast in the morning is wonderful and sets you up for the day :)

  • This was a return visit after a while, and we weren't disappointed, very comfortable room. Lovely to renew the friendship and hospitality of Roger and Pam. Roger's local knowledge made organising outings much easier, and fuelled with Pam's breakfast, we were set up for the day. Look forward to the next visit soon

About Copperfields

Pam and Roger Coldham were both born in Norwich and enjoy discussing the history and the outstanding facilities of the city and county.

They have a collection of books about the City and own a large collection of old Norwich postcards, many dating back to the early 1900's.

Pam loves pottering in the flower-laden garden and has a great array of unusual plants on display.

Many regular guests either work in Norwich or are visiting family living locally or studying at the very popular University of East Anglia.

Copperfields was built in the 1950’s and is still owned by the family. Originally built as a two-bedroom bungalow it was extended in 2006 to include a Guest Wing with its own access allowing guests to come and go at their leisure.

Those wishing to explore the Norfolk countryside as well as the beautiful medieval city of Norwich can reach the Norfolk Broads by car within 15 minutes where small boats can be hired by the hour or take a longer more leisurely cruise. An ideal opportunity to relax!

There are many excellent nature reserves and golf courses within easy reach.

The amazing beaches of North Norfolk are less than 40 mins. away and can be enjoyed all year round.
